Final processing of the LSSN "Helping the Homeless" Raffle is now complete. We are pleased to report that, through your generosity, we were able to raise $7,820 through the raffle.

All winners have been contacted and prizes are in the process of being distributed.

The first prize - a Samsung 42" HDTV (courtesy of Technology West) - was awarded to Sheila O.

The second prize - a Night on the Town at the MGM Grand (courtesy of Beasley Broadcasting) - was awarded to Rich Stephenson.

The third prize - a red and white wine package with a value of $500 - was awarded to Toni Martin.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Panera Bread for providing three gift certificates, which will be given to our top ticket sellers.

We at LSSN would like to again offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was generous enough to participate. Only through your help is LSSN able to offer its services to the community and continue to express the love of Christ by serving and caring for those in need.

By participating in this drawing, participants agree to the following:

1. Chances of winning depend on the number of tickets sold. No more than 2000 tickets will be sold for this raffle.
2. Proceeds will benefit the Lutheran Social Services of Nevada, minus expenses.
3. Money spent on the raffle is not considered to be a tax-deductible contribution.
4. LSSN reserves the right to postpone or cancel the drawing at its discretion.
5. The drawing will be held at the end of the late (10:30 am) service on February 7th, 2009 at The Lakes Lutheran Church, located at 8200 West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas.
6. Winners will be announced at the drawing on 2/7. Contact will then be attempted twice within seven days by phone and e-mail to the information provided on the ticket stub. If contact has not been made within seven days, a letter will be sent via USPS to the address provided on the ticket stub and two more phone and e-mail attempts will be made. A second USPS letter will be sent after twenty-one days.
7. The winner need not be present to win. Winners must present their ticket stub to collect their prize, and the identifying contact information entered into the drawing must match the identity of the claimant.
8. The winner is responsible for any taxes or other charges and for arranging delivery of the prize.
9. LSSN makes no express or implied warranty as to the prize. LSSN assumes no liability and reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney fees) against any claims made against us. LSSN is not responsible for any printing-related errors, problems with lost or undelivered mail, or for any other failure to deliver notifications or prizes related to the raffle.
10. The prize may not be exchanged for the cash value.
11. The prize must be claimed within thirty (30) days or the prize will be forfeited.
12. The drawing is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
13. The drawing is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
14. Decisions regarding interpretation or enforcement of these rules will be made by LSSN and will be final.
